What if? Part Two

What if the answer to your problem is in your mouth?

What if you knew their was power in your tongue?

What if God was showing you that YOU have the authority to speak and claim your promise?

Well, that's what God wants to show you today.

He has given us authority over all the earth. Luke 10:19 says We have the authority to cast out demons and trample on serpents, and the ability to exercise authority over ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY and that nothing will in any way harm us! If we would only believe!

He has called us to meditate on His written Word, and to speak OUTLOUD what is says.

In order to have victory in this life here on earth, you must learn to LISTEN, SPEAK and BELIEVE what God says to you in His Word.

Your mouth is so powerful, that you get what you SAY! DO NOT SAY, "I AM SICK, I HAVE _________ DISEASE." Do not say, That will NEVER happen to me." Do not say, "I CAN'T."

Instead, say what God says in Philippians 4:13, " I can do ALL THINGS through Him who strengthens me!" Believe that you can do ALL THINGS through Him who strengthens and empowers you. Remember, you must believe that it is true for it to work. Instead, you need to say what He says in His Word about the situation. "I am HEALED, WHOLE, DELIVERED, etc."

Look at a ship....the tiny little rudder on a huge ship is the primary control used to steer a ship. Compare your tongue to the rudder on a ship. Your tongue determines the course of your journey, whether you go this way or that, and it has great power! And that we are able to bridle our whole body with our tongue!

In James 3 it says THE TONGUE IS A FIRE! "And so the tongue is a small part of the body yet it carries great POWER!"

I learned the hard way for years how powerful your words are. Your body will line up with whatever you say and believe about it. I quit speaking about how I hurt, and how I had fibromyalgia, and how depressed I was, and low and behold, my body started to respond! Whatever you need in life, God's Word has a promise about your situation. Look up scriptures on sickness, fear, children, prosperity, or whatever you are believing for in the Word of God, and start speaking what God says about your situation. He is a good, good Father and it is His will for you to be healed and whole.

So be careful what you say, and be sure you are speaking life to your body and your situation, and watch it change before your very eyes!

What If? Part One

What if one day you got a revelation of who you really are?

What if one day you got a revelation of how much your creator really loves you?

What if one day you got a revelation of the fact that you don't have to live "under" your circumstances?

What if one day you got a revelation that you don't have to live life afraid?

What would happen if you knew you didn't have to be depressed?

Or what would happen if you knew you didn't have to worry?

Or what if you didn't have to believe the doctor's report you got today, that you had six months to live?

What if you knew it was God's will for you to be well?

What if you knew it was God's will for you to be prosperous?

What if you knew it was God's will for you to be a victor, a winner, and not a victim?

What if you knew that God is a Good God, and He NEVER CHANGES?

Well, I have been led to tell you about these things...because I have gotten this revelation and I am passing it on to you, for you to pass on to someone else.

I thought I was to write a book, and then God showed me a bigger picture. He said to use the internet, and start a small group study regarding these truths, and bring God's children into the knowledge and wisdom they need for these crazy times. There is so much pain and fear in the world right now that God's followers must unite and tell the world the real truth and the GOOD NEWS of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are not to fear. Do not fear is written 365 times in the bible. Check it out! Once for every day in a year!

When you are in Christ, you are victors, not victims. So many organized religions have so many false beliefs that need to be put to rest. I intend to help with the killing of these "sacred cows" that make the Word of God of no effect in your everyday lives.

The Word of God is real, and so is God. John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". It goes on to say ALL THINGS were made through Him. More on that later.

I took a chance at believing this, and over the past several years, God has made His PRESENCE known to me in more ways than I can count! It all starts with knowing who He is, and who you are "in Him". To be "in Him" you have to be saved. When you are "saved" you are "born again". That means your "spirit" is born again. We are made of Spirit, mind and soul. Your Spirit is your inner "born again" man, but your mind, and soul (will and emotions, or flesh) is continually being renewed as you learn and grow. You have to CHANGE your mind. (Another word for changing your mind, is to repent). You have to begin seeking and BELIEVING what God and His word says about you!

In Romans 12:2 the bible says, "Do not be conformed to this world; but be TRANSFORMED, by the "renewal of your mind", that you may PROVE what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God. Renewing your mind simply means believing who God says you are in His word, not how you picture yourself.

The mere reading, hearing, studying and/or meditating on the words in this book CAN and WILL change your life! They are alive! If you don't believe it, it won't work for you, so you can just stop reading for now.

In Joshua 1:8 it says, "This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall MEDITATE on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then it will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." You don't meditate on it to have good success in life, but when you do meditate on it, good success follows you. It's a bi-product of right believing.

Back to making the Word of no effect. First you have to know that there is POWER in the Word of God. In Hebrews 4 and verse 12 it says, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than ANY two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joint and marrow, and IS a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. That scripture says a lot more than just the power of God's word. But Mark 7:13 says, "making the Word of God of no effect through your "tradition", which ye have delivered; and many such things do ye."

We have made the powerful Word of God have NO EFFECT by hanging on to "religious traditions" and beliefs that are not true, and that cancel out the Word's effect on our lives. Believing right, receiving, listening and trusting is the key.

So if God's word is so POWERFUL and IT IS TRUE, they why aren't we seeing miraculous results in people's lives? Is it God's fault? Is it our fault? God's word IS our IMMUNITY. From the enemy, from disease, from defeat. It is crucial that the Word of God becomes the foundation of your belief system. (And it's amazing how He speaks personally right to us when we hear/read it.) Whatever way works for you, just get it inside of you. It is POWER.

Well, chew on that until we meet again! And practice listening for a "still small voice". He will guide you, if you allow Him too.

What does God think about you?

In contemplating what God thinks about me, I turn back to scripture and I find these marvelous truths:

In John 3:16, we find that God loves us.

God is madly in love with you! He loves THE WORLD so much that He GAVE HIS ONLY SON. For me, and for you. Our part is only to have faith and BELIEVE that He loves us. That is the part we struggle with. That the creator of the universe LOVES US! He wants to hang out and be our FATHER!

In Psalm 139, we find that God made us.

You were God's idea. Psalm 139 also says that He knows us and that He is with us ALWAYS. And we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Read the whole chapter. Ephesians 2 says we are His workmanship, and God doesn't make mistakes. You are His masterpiece! It also says that in the ages to come he would show the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. It sounds like He wants to be kind and gracious to us.

1John 2:2 , we find that His Son died for us.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Jesus, who knew no sin, BECAME sin for us. For the whole world. He also took on all sickness and disease at the Cross. He did it for you. A very pretty price was paid on your behalf. If you didn't matter why would God waste His Son on you? Think about that for a moment.

In Jeremiah 29:11, God says He has a plan for you.

A lot of people struggle with their purpose in life. God made you, and He put those dreams in your heart from the beginning. Never give up on your dreams. You have a purpose, and you were designed with specific gifts. If we could just do what we love to do, follow our hearts and our dreams, and trust the Lord to work through us, instead of trying to figure everything out on our own, we would be so much better off. We are jars of clay, designed to rest and be filled with the Holy Spirit who works through us. 2 Cor. 4:7 says that we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in earthen vessels. Rest and trust; and listen to the promptings from the Lord, and you will be amazed at where He leads you.

Let's practice getting these promises in our minds, and especially in our hearts.

He LOVES YOU! And there's not a thing you can do except BELIEVE and receive IT!
